Oral health is essential to good health and well-being. The Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors recognizes racism and all forms of discrimination as critical threats to public health, including dental public health. We are committed to ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion is central to our strategic plan. We will strengthen partnerships and support policies and practices that lead to equitable outcomes. ASTDD will implement and continuously evaluate strategies to reach our goal of equitable optimal oral health for all.
