# ASTDD – Association of State & Territorial Dental Directors
> ASTDD is a national nonprofit membership organization and the national voice for the people who work in, support, and advance State and Territorial Oral Health Programs (S/TOHPs). Organized in 1948, ASTDD is an affiliate of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO).
ASTDD supports S/TOHPs through leadership development, technical assistance, evidence-informed resources, peer learning networks, and the National Oral Health Conference. ASTDD's 2027–2030 Strategic Framework is "Charting the Future: ASTDD's Purpose, Vision, & Roadmap for Impact." The site is being rebuilt in phases: Phase 1 launched October 6, 2026, and the full resource library and member experience arrive in early 2027.
